The Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Adesola Adedayo, has applauded President Bola Tinubu for appointing credible and dependable Nigerians to superintend over the affairs of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Development in the country.
Adedayo said Tinubu appointment of Jamila Ibrahim Bio as Minister of Youth and Development and Ayodele Olawande as Minister of State for Youth and Development, has bolstered youth’s hope in the current administration and create the impression that the All Progressives Congress-led government places high premium on the progress of the youth population.
Adedayo, who said this in a statement congratulated the ministers on their appointments and subsequent swearing-in into their coveted positions by President Tinubu.
The commissioner pledged that the Ekiti State Government under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji will partner the new ministers to facilitate robust relationship that would ultimately benefit Ekiti youth in every federal government youth policies.
Adedayo advised the new ministers to bring their expertises, experiences and technical know-how to bear in their respective offices and ensure that Nigerian youth occupy a priceless space in national politics.
He said Jamila and Olawande earned their new appointments on the premises of trust and competence, urging them not to betray the confidence reposed in their abilities to deliver the best for Nigerians.
“Let me on behalf of the teeming Ekiti youths congratulate you on your appointments that were well deserved and which was earned on the strength of your outstanding academic attainments, unblemished records of services, rich family and moral values as well as competences to handle such a sensitive national assignment.
“I want to pledge that the Ekiti State Government under our youth-friendly Governor, Biodun Oyebanji will partner you in the most robust fashion to make sure that Ekiti youths benefit from all the federal government policies.
“I want you to live up to the expectations of the Nigerian youths, who are currently yearning for good governance, inclusion in government and seeking attentions to issues that can make them relevant in the scheme of things.
