President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement issued on Saturday by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu commended the Governor’s political career, governance achievements, and dedication to grassroots development.

Aiyedatiwa, a stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), began his political journey with the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in 2011.

His ascension from Deputy Governor in 2021 to Governor in 2023, following the tenure of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, underscores his commitment to public service and administration.

The President also lauded Aiyedatiwa’s success in the 2024 gubernatorial elections, which enabled him to implement transformative projects in the health and education sectors.

Prior to his role as Governor, Aiyedatiwa served as a Commissioner representing Ondo State at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), where he championed grassroots development initiatives.

Tinubu extended his best wishes to the Governor, praying for his continued good health, wisdom, and success in his leadership endeavours.
