Tribute trails Akapinsa’s 30 years on the throne

It was an atmosphere filled with tribute, pomp and pageantry during the weekend as sons and daughters of Ipinsa community in Ondo State, celebrated their monarch, the Akapinsa of Ipinsa community, HRM, Oba Omoniyi Olufunmilayo (Ajayi Roboto 1) as he clocked 30 years on throne.

The epoch making event which was held at St. Augustine Primary school field, Ipinsa in Akure south local government was graced by the Chief press secretary to the Governor; Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chairman, Akure south local government, Dr. Gbenga Fasua, secretary to the state government represented by Hon. Ileola Benedict Adegoroye, Traditional Rulers, among others.
Speaking about the celebrant, the Olurese of Irese land, HRM, Oba Ahmed Destiny, commended his fatherly role upon his installment on the throne .

According to him: ” The fatherly role he played cannot be underestimated He has been there for us in all ramifications.
” He is someone loved by everyone, we admire him for being good to us, having given the opportunity to serve humanity, We are celebrating the glory of God upon his life.
Also speaking, the Olubaka of Oka-Akoko, HRM, Oba (Dr) Yusuf Oluleke Adeleye, described the celebrant as someone who has the passion for any development in the town.

“We are here today to celebrate a Responsible, Polite and a God fearing man who has passion for any development in our town.
In his reaction, the celebrant, the Akapinsa of Ipinsa HRM, Oba Omoniyi Olufunmilayo, (Ajayi Roboto 1) thanked God for witnessing 30 year on the thrown “I am highly elated about this occasion, before now, there are lot of challenges before I was installed.

The era of bad road, no maternity, no electricity and mobile network has become things of the past when i was installed.
“I have to thank God, there are lot of social amenities in the community now upon my installment. However, I still look forward to the intervention of the state government in area of good roads.
