TSG remains Tinubu’s strongest grassroots force—Aminu

Former Chief of Staff to late Governor Adebayo Adefarati, Chief Folusho Aminu, has described the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), as the most organised and consistent platform backing President Bola Tinubu, noting that it remains the major force sustaining his grassroots support nationwide.

Aminu, who spoke with The Hope on the inauguration of the support group, said TSG had been the backbone of Tinubu’s political movement since 2022, long before his emergence as president.

According to him, TSG was not a hurried coalition, but a structured and well-coordinated network built to project Tinubu’s leadership ideals and mobilise Nigerians at the community level.

He said, “The Tinubu Support Group is not new. It was formed before the 2023 general elections under the leadership of Hon James Faleke.

The group has gone through several stages of development and has remained focused on promoting Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria.”

Aminu, who is one of the group’s elders, said TSG’s strength lies in its capacity to reach the grassroots and sustain political mobilisation across the six geopolitical zones.

“TSG is the foundation that nurtured the support which brought Tinubu to power. We are not just a campaign body; we are a structure built to ensure that the president’s policies are understood and supported by ordinary Nigerians,” he said.

He commended the leadership of the group, particularly the commitment of Prince Ademola Adegoroye, former Minister and one-time member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, who he said has continued to give direction to the group’s activities in the state.

“The leadership we have in TSG is fantastic. Prince Adegoroye’s political experience and dedication have strengthened the group. When you see a man of his calibre volunteering to lead, you know it’s not by accident, it’s out of conviction and patriotism,” Aminu stated.

He also praised the calibre of members and political figures present at the inauguration, saying their presence underscored TSG’s credibility and influence.

“The quality of people that attended the inauguration clearly shows that TSG is the major support group capable of advancing President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda. We will continue to mobilise, enlighten and sustain the support that will help the president succeed,” Aminu assured.
