Twenty five Ekiti youths benefit from creative art training

No fewer than twenty five youths of Ekiti state origin will be attending a workshop on creative art slated to hold in Benin-city, the capital of Edo state.

The State Governor of the state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, made the disclosure at the weekend in a meeting with the youths who were drawned from various local government areas of the state. He said youths are central to the knowledge economy being canvassed by his administration.

Fayemi while addressing the participants in Ado- Ekiti said he was optimistic that the State is blessed with  human resources that could be tapped for the all-round development of the State.

He said the government’s decision to explore the federal governments organised programme is borne out of the knowledge that the State could benefit from the use of ICT especially now that the world is a global technology village.

While urging the participants to be law abiding, the governor expressed optimism that they would be useful in driving the knowledge economy of the state.

Earlier, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth and Students Matters, Moses Ademiloye had explained that the participants would be trained on animation 3D,2D, script writing, and production.

Ademiloye explained that at the end of the workshop, the successful participants will undergo further studies abroad.
