Two die in Akure-Owo autocrash

Two persons have been confirmed dead in an auto crash which occurred along Akure-Owo expressway on Sunday evening.

The state Sector Commander, Mr Ezekiel Son’Allah, in a statement, confirmed the incident.

He explained that the accident involved an unregistered trailer and a motorcycle.

According to the FRSC boss, the crash was caused by overspeeding.

He said, “Two persons, a male and a female, lost their lives while one person sustained injury in the accident. The identity of the victims are yet to be known.

“The bodies of the dead victims were deposited at the State Specialist Hospital morgue, in Akure.”
