Two injured in Ondo road crash

Two people were seriously injured in a road accident along Sabo road in Ondo west local government area of the state.
The victims are Babaloye Adekola, 32, and Samuel Akinruli, 37 respectively.
Eyewitnesses told The Hope Metro that the incident happened on Saturday around 06:30 pm, while the victims were going home from their work place.
It was gathered that the Sienna bus, coming from Adeyemi road at top speed, tried to dodge a motorcyclist, when he hit another bike from the rear, resulting to the victims falling of bike.
Some good samaritans who rushed to the scene, rescued the injured victims.
Speaking with an eyewitness, Mr Kola Akinrimade, he said the Toyota Sienna was coming from Adeyemi with high speed and ran into incoming motorcycle where the victims where sitting on.
Also speaking with the owners of the other motorcycle, Mr Andrew Faloye said “my body is still shaking after the incident. I can’t say what happened to the man that came to hit my bike. All I want to say is, thank God because I am alive and the passenger I carried is alive too.
The injured rider and the passenger were rushed to the State Specialist Hospital, in Ondo, for treatment by men of the Federal Road Safety Commission and other rescue workers that were at the scene.
