The Matriculation ceremony of the University of Medical Sciences, (UNIMED), Ondo City holds tomorrow .
This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Friday Okonofua through the Public Relations Officer of the school, Mr Temitope Oluwatayo .
According to him, the event which is the fourth in the series will confer on the participating candidates full membership of the institution having fulfilled all necessary requirements.
He said over 500 duly registered students are expected to take oath of allegiance to the constituted authority and also commit themselves to peaceful living as members of the university community.
The Vice Chancellor, had on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff and Students requested the presence of parents and friends of the University and the general public at the event.
Okonofua added that Parents, guardians and other dignitaries are expected to be seated by 9:30 am at the University’s Main Auditorium, Odosida Campus, Oke-Igbala, Ondo as the programme commences by 10:00 am prompt.
He hinted that this year’s matriculation ceremony is coming on the heels of the recent NUC accreditation of courses offered in the university.
