UNIMEDTH CMD lauds Gov. Aiyedatiwa on healthcare devt.

The Acting Chief Medical Director,
University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH), Ondo,Dr. Michael Gbala, has commended Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his unwavering commitment to strengthening medical education and healthcare in the state.
Gbala stated”We sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Hon.. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his unwavering commitment to strengthening medical education and healthcare in Ondo State through strategic appointments into UNIMED.
“His dedication to advancing the health sector in the state is highly commendable.”
On behalf of the management, staff, and entire healthcare team at the UNIMEDTH, Ondo, Gbala extended his heartfelt congratulations to Professor Adesegun Fatusi on the successful completion of his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo.
“Under your leadership, UNIMED experienced remarkable growth in medical education, research, and community engagement. Your unwavering commitment to academic excellence, infrastructural development, and institutional partnerships has strengthened the university’s position as a centre of excellence.
“We deeply appreciate your service, collaboration, and the lasting impact you have made. We wish you continued success in your future endeavours.
The CMDalso congratulated Professor Adolphus Loto on his appointment as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of UNIMED by the visitor to the university and Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, just as he noted that his passion, steadfast commitment and vast experience in medical education and administration will undoubtedly ensure a seamless transition.
Gbala pounted out that “We look forward to your leadership in sustaining and improving the academic and research excellence that UNIMED is known for.”
Also, Dr Gbala extended his warmest congratulations to Professor Ebun Adejuyigbe on her well-deserved appointment by the governor as the third substantive vice-chancellor of the university.
“As you prepare to assume office, we are confident that your vision, expertise, and dedication to institutional development will propel UNIMED to greater heights.
“We eagerly anticipate a strengthened collaboration between UNIMED and UNIMEDTH to further enhance medical training, clinical services, and research.” Gbala stated
As the university celebrated its milestones, Gbala urged the faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders of UNIMED and UNIMEDTH to support the leadership of Professors Loto and Adejuyigbe in their new roles,saying that their success will contribute significantly to the advancement of medical education, healthcare delivery, and research in the state and beyond.
