Vote APC, Oyetola charges electorate

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State, has urged the residents of the State to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and vote for him as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 16, governorship election.

Oyetola, who also enjoined the residents in the state to give their votes to APC in 2023 general elections was confident of the party’s victory in both elections in the state.

He pointed out that the only way victory could be assured is for  the citizens of the state to collect their PVCs and exercise their voting rights.

The Governor spoke at Modakeke and Ipetumodu while addressing crowds of supporters and party faithful in continuation of his campaign tour to all the councils area of the State.

His words: “I appreciate you, I can see that you are many. We will rejoice after the polls next month. We will construct more roads in the second term and attend to your other needs.

“ If you’re yet to obtain your PVCs, please get it. Your great number at this scene will be very helpful at the poll and  make sure you get to your polling units early on the election day. Carefully and lightly place your inked finger in front of the APC logo.

“APC deserves your vote, vote for me  again. Your vote is very important. We will also vote for APC in the forthcoming presidential election.”

“Those of the opposition are not as many as we are. They should not trouble us, if they do, we will trouble them too. Anyone that passes his boundary, we will change it for them,”

Osun State APC Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun appealed to people in the state to vote APC for second term, adding that opposition parties were not as many as the APC members.

” They should not trouble us, if they do, we will trouble them too. Anyone that passes his boundary, we will change it for them. But remain peaceful and come out to vote without any fear of intimidation and molestation”, he stated.

He assured them of security of their lives and property before, during and after the elections.

Also speaking Ajibola Basiru, Director of Oyetola’s Campaign organization urged the crowd to collect their voters cards, saying that Bimodal Voter.

Accreditation System (BVAS) will be at your various polling units for accreditation.

He said BVAS machine would verify faces and fingers to ascertain bonafide voters on the day of election.

The Director further educated the crowd on the voting process on the day of election
