Following the lifting of ban on campaign by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the rescheduled general elections, residents of Okeigbo and its environs have been urged to come out en mass to vote for the candidates of APC.
The Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Development and Investment, Mr Boye Oyewumi made the plea during his campaign for President Muhammadu Buhari in the area.
Oyewumi led some APC loyalists on a vigorous ward campaign to the area for President Buhari and all APC candidates in the forthcoming polls.
The campaign for President Buhari’s re-election started from Oduduwa street, Oke Igbo where people were sensitised to vote for President Buhari on Saturday for them to further enjoy the dividends of democracy
Oyewumi who promised that the road leading to Igbo Olodumare would be repaired, urged the people of the area to vote massively for Buhari for them to move to the next level.
Also speaking, the House of Assembly candidate for Ile Oluji/Oke Igbo constituency, Mr. Festus Ayodele appealed to the people of the area to appreciate what President Buhari is doing in the country by voting massively for him on Saturday.
Some of the people who spoke with The Hope at all the wards visited promised not only to vote for the president but would mobilised others to handsomely vote for his re-election.
Oyewumi and APC supporters visited Idiroko/Odigbo ward 3, Awopeju central ward 10 and other wards in the local government.
