Watch out for more of  my works –Akanmu

Rising Nigerian artiste, Adeyemi Akanmu has assured his fans in Nigeria and the world at large to watch out for more of his works.

Talented Akanmu who has been acting professionally  since  2008  said that acting has been part of him since he was at the children department in his church.

The artiste, a graduate of Political Science from the University of Ibadan, while speaking with Friday Extravaganza in an interview in Akure said that being a dance drama minister is a means of fulfilling destiny.

According to him, as a final year students, they were told to do a cultural presentation to entertain the old students and he championed the course of the dance drama presentation.

The artiste noted that he started his ministry when he graduated from school in the year 2013.

He mentioned some challenges he encountered at the initial stage of his acting career, to include people  who  are not ready to identify with upcoming artistes.

According to him, financial problem is another challenge he faced, saying that they are better than yesterday and trusting God for a better tomorrow.

Akanmu said that his aim is to preach the gospel for the salvation of souls.

In his words, he mentioned some of his mentors to include Evang. Femi Ajewole (Alfa Sule).

The artiste who hails from Ibadan, stated that he now has three albums to his credit.

He noted that he has travelled to all South-west states since he has been acting.

According to him, the world we live is more spiritual than physical. And there is a difference between the ministry and industry.

He urged his colleagues in the ministry to always strive to engage the Holy Spirit in their research so that the content coming out of them will not only be body refreshing, but spirit edifying and to the glory of God.

He stated that no one receives except he is given from heaven above, saying that it is a privilege to be used by God.
