We are committed to Ondo’s devt – ODHA

Ondo State House of Assembly has reiterated its determination to continue to enact laws towards the development of the state.
The Speaker of the House, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun who stated this affirmed that the Parliament would continue to collaborate with other arms of Government to get the desired result.
While thanking God for the peaceful conduct of elections in the state, he appreciated all residents and other stakeholders for their maturity during and after the elections.
According to him, the citizens’ conduct was unprecedented, noting that the development has added value to democratic system of the state and Nigeria as a whole.
The Speaker, who equally commended parties’ flag bearers for making the process interesting, said they are worthy citizens of the state.
He therefore called on all the contestants to join hands with the present government to move the state forward.
He equally urged the State Government not to relent in its oars of making life better for people through various developmental programmes across the state.
The Speaker thanked the lawmakers and staff of the assembly for their support and passion to move the state to greater heights.
Corroborating the Speaker’s words, the Chairman, ad hoc committee on information, Akogun Olugbenga Omole posited that now that the lawmakers are back from recess, they will continue with the outstanding bills towards the development of the state.
He assured that no stone would be left unturned to enact laws that would affect people positively.
