We are focused on talents discovery-ODSFA boss

In a bid to further develop and discover new hidden talents at the grassroots, Chairman Ondo State Football Agency, Otunba Tajudeen Akinyemi has put in place Easter Football competition tagged; Otunba Tajudeen Akinyemi Cup.
During the opening ceremony of the Competition at Ijapo Housing field in Akure, organised by (Kunle Tuface Football promotion), the ODSFA Boss said, he embarked on the competition to further discover more new talents from the grassroots.
He added further, that the competition is for all participants in the 18 local governments area of the state ,adding that any new discovery from the competition will join the Rising Stars, while those who are already matured to play in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) will automatically join the Sunshine Stars Football Club.
Akinyemi reiterated that the aim of organising the competition was to catch the new talents young from the grassroots to further bring glory to the state”.
According to the Coordinator of the (Kunle Tuface Football Promotion), Comrade Oluwatope Ayokunle, “it’s imperative to go back to the grassroots to discover talents for the state government.”
He buttressed the ODSFA Boss view’s ,saying discovery of new talents across the local government area of the sunshine state is the fulcrum of the Easter Soccer competition.
The first match of the opening game of the competition saw Owo Pillar held Rising Stars to 1-1draw in an exhilarating game and Ekimogun FC thrashed Idanre Warrior 3-0 in the second match, while Ikare United pip Akure North 2-0, and Akoko United strolled past OSOPADEC by 1 goal to nill in the third and fourth encounter of the competition respectively.
