Coach Kabiru Dogo of Sunshine Stars, has dispelled any possible pressure after his side slipped to 2-0 defeat in the hands of the Mountain and Fire Ministry Football Club (MFMFC).

Dogo during the post match interview added that he hoped for a better outcome in subsequent matches.

Accirding to him “we came here for a win, but it’s not our day today, tomorrow could be our day. we will go back to work on our team and try get it right in our next game.

“Nothing is new in football, football is all about challenges. I don’t feel any pressure.” Dogo stated.

Meanwhile , MFM FC of Lagos assistant coach, Alli Suleiman Obinna says he is impressed with his team’s performance.

“Looking at how we started the game and how we started the season you will agree with me that nobody gave us the chance that we can be where we are today.

“I am very impressed with today’s game, I am impressed with the way the boys played because if you look at Sunshine Stars they are a very good team.

They are second on the table before this game and anything short of victory for us would have made things difficult for us,” Coach Obinna stated.

The Lagos-based team still maintain their first position on the NPFL Group A table with 18 points from eight league matches.

Goals from Kabiru Adeniji and Michael Ohanu in either half of the midweek Southwest derby with MFM handed Sunshine Stars their second defeat of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League season on match day 10.
