The Ondo State Governor, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has assured that Civil Society will continue to collaborate with the Government as well as support the Nigeria Army (NA) towards ensuring that the society is completely secured.
The Governor who was represented by the Special Adviser on Security Matters, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, made this statement at the 2022 West African Social Activities, WASA, organised by the 32 Artillery Brigade, Owena Barracks, Akure yesterday.
Akeredolu noted that deliberate efforts have been put in place to ensure maximum support of the Nigeria the day marked great history for civil society collaboration.
“This is a new era in the life of collaboration between the security Agencies and the Civil society of Ondo state.
” The confidence in the NA and other security services in ensuring peaceful and safe environment during the forthcoming general election can not be overruled.
“I want to applaud the administrator and Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade for a job well done. We are here today thanking God, we appreciate you and we thank you for your service to humanity.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Commander, 32 Artillery Brigade, Owena Barracks, Brigadier General Muktar Adamu assured Ondo and Ekiti state residents, that the Nigeria Army are ready in guaranteeing safe environment for peaceful conduct of the forthcoming election in conjunction with police and other security Agencies in the states.
