‘We ’ll pursue govt’s vision vigorously’

Some newly appointed aides of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu have expressed their gratitude for the opportunity given them to serve the state.

In their different thank you messages, they expressed their commitments to support the vision of the governor to take the state to a greater height and to ensure that their impact is felt in their various communities.

Speaking in an interview with The Hope, a Special Assistant to the governor, Mr. Olusola Okun who thanked the governor and some leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the recognition, assured his readiness to work in line with the principles and beliefs of the Akeredolu-led administration.

His words: ” In 2012 when people didn’t believe in him, I did and I campaigned for him, now that we are moving to the era of the second term campaign, I will use every power involved in this call to duty to promote and assist his government to make sure that in 2021 our governor returns to Alagbaka to continue his good job.

Another newly appointed Special Assistant to the Governor Mr. Akintoye Olatunji also expressed gratitude to Governor Akeredolu for appointing him from llaje/Ese- Odo community.

The appointee who gave thanks to God for using Akeredolu greatly for his community described him as God-sent.

“Govenor Akeredolu is God-sent to this state especially to our people, no government has being this good to us and want to understand our language. l pray God will help him to help resuscitate all our dead factories; Okitipupa Oil Palm, Oluwa Glass, Cocoa industries and many others.

“I believe we will urgently address the epileptic power supply in the southern part of the state which will help our administration to strive gloriously.

“ It has not being a news that we have been in total darkness for the past three years now, I believe with my appointment things will be better and we will speak in one voice to move Ilaje-Ese Odo community forward.

“I am privileged to be appointed as the Special Assistant today which is a great steps to communicate the voice of the people”, he said.

On his part, Mr. Makinde Olanrewaju an appointee  from Odigbo local government also thanked the governor for given him opportunity to serve under his government.

His words: ” I have wanted very much to help the APC family, and with this appointment I will be able to perform brilliantly, and the appointment is accepted with determination for service to our people”.
