We ‘ll vote for  APC-Odigbo residents

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Odigbo Local Government of Ondo State, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and Mr. Mayowa Akinfolarin, on their victories in the February 23 election, describing the victory as  votes of  confidence in the ability of the party to deliver on its promises made to the electorate.

   APC Chairman in Odigbo, Alhaji Fatai Olawale  who stated this at the weekend in Ore, described the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections as the fairest in the history of the country.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari and  Akinfolari deserved the victories, he insisted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had shown its commitment to the rule of law by ensuring a transparent electoral process.

He said: “The victory is for every patriotic Nigerian who has upheld the sacred code of honour by putting Nigeria first  above all ethnic, religious, selfish and political sentiments.

“Nigerians have demonstrated their faith and preference for a corrupt-free and a stable democratic country by speaking resoundingly through the ballot box and I thank every single man, woman and youth out there for their sacrifices and commitment to democracy.

“This is a clear vote of  confidence in Mr President and his ability to deliver on promises made to the electorate, be it the economy, unflinching fight against graft and security, among others.”

The APC chieftain said that Odigbo Local Government remain an APC home and will continue to vote for its success in the future elections.

He expressed optimism that Akinfolari would use his re-election to steer the ship of the area to the next level where poverty and lack of critical infrastructure for development would be a thing of the past.

While also congratulating the opposition parties on a well contested elections especially in the area, he called on all the stakeholders who believe in one Nigeria to accept defeat in good faith without bitterness.

Olawale also urged them to join hands with Mr President to address evolving challenges of education, insecurity, poverty among others.

He thanked Odigbos and Nigerian for re-electing Buhari, Akinfolarin, urged the President to remain focused in his determined commitment to uplift the nation to the next level of achievements.

He appealed to all APC followers and supporters in the area and Ondo State to troop out en-masse on March 9 and vote the party candidates in the House of Assembly election to continue to witness and enjoy the current development in the state.
