Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has assured of his administration’s commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability in governance.

Oyetola made the assertion while playing host to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Alumni Association in Osogbo during the week.

He said the state is blessed with mineral deposits as the Federal Government has taken up its exploitation.

Oyetola said that Osun State enjoys 16-18 hours uninterrupted electricity describing the development as inviting to investors, saying power supply is pivotal to economic growth.

He said the state is small, but big in historical analysis with the presence of natural tourist sites, particularly the Osun Groove which is a UNESCO heritage site.

He disclosed that Osun state will soon host an economic summit and would collaborate with the association in the area of research and capacity building.

President of UNILAG Alumni Association, Mr John Momoh represented by the first Vice President of the association, Dr Fase Yusuf, prayed for phenomenal growth in Osun state under Oyetola’s administration.
