The Ondo State House of Assembly has assured of its commitment to the upliftment of good governance in the State.
The House Committee on SDGs, intergovernmental affairs and multilateral relations stated this during a visit to the Cabinet and Special Services Department at the government office in Akure.
The Chairman of the Committee, Tiamiyu Fatai Atere appreciated the Permanent Secretary and his team for holding forth and ensuring that the business of government move forward.
He called for a symbiotic relationship towards achieving desired objectives.

According to him, the visit became imperative after the inauguration of new standing Committees to get acquainted with the management of the department and ensure robust relationship so as to continue to deliver on its mandate.
Other Lawmakers also commended the department for a job well done and charged the management team not to relent in supporting the Governor in his efforts to take the state to greater heights.
While briefing the legislators on their activities, the Permanent Secretary of the department, Adeyemi Adeyemo informed that the office has been instrumental to the day to day running of Government businesses in the State.
While saying that the department is made up of four divisions, he noted that it is under the supervision of the Secretary to the State Government ,SSG.
The PS thanked members for the visit and promised to carry them along in the scheme of things.
