We’re committed to providing investor’s-friendly environment –ODSG

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has attributed the influx of companies and industries into the state to the business-friendly policies of his administration and the peaceful environment.

The governor made this known at the official commissioning of Fingerprints Hotel and Suites at Oba Ile in Akure North Local Government Area of the state.

Akeredolu, represented at the event by his deputy, Hon. Agboola Ajayi opined that the prevailing peace in Ondo State as well as the business friendly policies and programmes of his government informed the choice of the proprietor to site the business in the state.

He noted that his administration since inception in the state has been creating enabling environment and good number of opportunities to attract investors to the state.

His words: “Ondo State will soon get to a stage where the hospitality industry generates massive wealth and employment for the people of the state and strengthen the social engagement of citizens.

“In our concerted efforts to reduce crime and criminality to the barest minimum in the state, this administration has been continually interfacing with and providing logistic supports for all the security agencies with a view to ensuring security of lives and property of our people”, the governor added.

Akeredolu commended the hotel owner for his contributions to tourism and hospitality business in the state, saying the development is a right step in a right direction and urging other private bodies and  well-to-do individuals to join efforts with his administration in taking the state to an enviable height.

He assured that his administration will not rest on its oars but redouble efforts  to attract more investors and protect their investments, saying that such investments would no doubt boost revenue, generate more employments and improve  local economies.

Meanwhile in his address, the Chief Executive Officer of the Fingerprints Hotel and Suites, Mr. Ibitoye Olaseni had lauded the Akeredolu administration’s programmes, projects and policies, saluting its giant strides in every aspect of the socio-economic development of the state.

“I have been following your numerous achievements and burning desires to transform the state into an eldorado of business hub and that of an estate of immense opportunities for various entrepreneurs. My salute and respect for you”.His drive in establishing his business in the state he said was a desire to be part of the success story of the present government in the state in  contributing his quota to the development of the state through infrastructural development and generating employment opportunities.
