Despite the shift of the Presidential and National Assembly elections, President Muhammadu Buhari and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), would definitely coast home to victory on Saturday.

This was the position of the Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Tayo Alasoadura, who expressed confidence that victory is sure for all candidates of the party.

He said notwithstanding, the sudden postponement of the elections earlier slated for last Saturday February 16, the  APC would still win the rescheduled polls handsomely.

The Senator who disclosed this yesterday in Akure, the Ondo state capital, also called on the electorate to continue to support all of them who are progressives in a bid to restore the nation’s lost glory.

INEC had rescheduled the Presidential and National Assembly elections to this week Saturday, February  23. It also shifted the govemorship, State House of Assembly and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections to Saturday March 9, 2019.

The APC candidate for Ondo Central Senatorial District asserted that though it was unfortunate that the elections were postponed, there is nothing they could do other than to adjust to the situation and renew their campaign for the victory of the APC at the rescheduled polls.

“We are only asking our supporters, the electorate, those who believe in the progress of this country to remain focused and determined so that at the end of the day,  all of us will enjoy dividends of good governance”, he said.

Alasoadura emphasised that President is doing everything to ensure that Nigeria comes back on track, adding that all hands must be on deck to support the president and take the country to the next level of greatness.
