The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state has dismissed in totality the allegations by the Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Elder Sunday Akanfe Atidade that Oyetola led-APC administration sponsored the parallel PDP State office and unsettled crisis ravaging the party.
The party said “it is mind-boggling, unimaginable and lack of creativity for Atidade to accuse Oyetola led-APC administration of sponsoring the crisis in other party, adding that the governor and the party have no time to be wasted on such reasoning.
This reaction was contained in a statement issued from the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy and signed by its Director, Kunle Oyatomi and made available to newsmen in Osogbo.
‘Atilade should be mute, if he has nothing truthful to say. At his age, he should not be saying things he cannot defend. He is perhaps suffering from delusion’, Oyatomi said.
He continued: “it is childish for anyone, who call himself a politician, to start seeing his party’s crisis as the handiwork of another party. Governor Oyetola led-APC administration is very busy on implementation of people’s oriented projects and programmes rather than mere frivolity”.
He described the opposition PDP in the state as “a gathering of unserious politicians, who should never be trusted with the huge responsibility of governing the State again. The virus in that party is malignant and incurable”.
According to the party, ‘those in Osun PDP are nothing but strange fellows under a strange umbrella, and deluding themselves that they can withstand the revving machine of APC in the state, and expecting a magic to positively change things for them, while forgetting that any house built on lies will definitely collapse.
