‘We’ve codified security tips for safety in Ore’ – Police

In its bid to enhance the safety of lives and property of residents in Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo state, the police said it has codified security tips for the community.
The Ore Police Area Commander, Mr. Olusegun Ajamolaya, who disclosed this to journalists assured the residents of their safety.
“We have decided to codify some of the security tips and reproduce the emergency telephone numbers that have been severally given to the people and transporters to ensure their safety in case of any emergency.
“All these are in addition to other proactive measures already in place. It will also engender a better synergy between the police, residents and government in our collective bid to ensure smooth, safe and satisfactory professional services,” he added.
Ajamolaya advised the people to be law abiding and continue with their normal daily activities without fear of molestation.
According to him, the new initiative would help residents of the area to easily access security help in the face of distress.
He assured residents of police readiness in ensuring that no criminal will go unpunished in Odigbo local government and the state in general.
On his part, the general chairman of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, Golden chapel branch, Ore, Prince Victor Iluyomade, who thanked the police for its efforts in stamping out crime in the state, especially in Ore and its environs, pledged the association’s support in a bid to achieve a crime free society.
