A former Minister of Power, Dr Olu Agunloye has blamed some of the Nation’s woes on poor legislative personnel in the country.

Agunloye berated the incursion of some politicians into the Nation and state legislative houses who due to their incompetence have turned themselves into mere rubber stamps of the executive.

He warned during an interview that the country may not develop if incompetent people continue to flood legislative houses without being impactful or change agents.

He, therefore, advised electorate to stop selling their votes, conscience and make better difference between the good and the bad people to represent them at the position of governance.

His words “the change can only come from us if we start to see that people to be elected are not only competent, but credible and compassionate.

“Above all, we must stop to have the decision between the Lucifer and the devil because the two are evils.

According to him, until electorate in the country imbibe the principle of social justice Nigeria will not better for it.
