A 35-year-old woman, Adeola Bolarinwa, has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for alleged fraud.
The prosecutor, Inspector Jacob Akintunde, told the court that the accused person committed the offence in February 2, 2019 around 12:00pm at Dada Estate in Osogbo.
Akintunde told the court that the accused person obtained goods with an intention to defraud the complainant, one Laogun Omoyeni.
He further alleged that the accused person obtained goods at valued N413,000 under the pretence of being her customer, with a promise to pay in two weeks time, which she reneged.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of defrauding and stealing preferred against her by the police.
Defence counsel, Babajide Siyanbola, prayed the court to grant her client bail in most liberal term.
In his ruling, Magistrate Opeyemi Badmus granted the defendant N300,000 bail with one surety in like sum.
He adjourned the matter till March 31, 2020 for report of settlement and hearing.
