Yellow house has emerged overall winners of 2024 Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School Inter House sports with 120 points.

While Purple house went home with second position with 100 points in the inter house sports held at the school play ground, Blue house occupied third position with 80 points ,Green, Red and Orange Houses were in fourth , fifth and sixth positions with 60, 50 and 30 points respectively.

In a chat with Sporting Hope, the principal of the school, Mrs Ojoge Omobola – Temitope commended the students for their display during and after the competition.

She disclosed that some challenges they are facing the school was responsible for holding the inter house sports lately.

 “The challenges made us to organise the event in a very low key and called it ‘Sports Days.”

“We decided to let the girls exercise their bodies, because everything must not be class work alone ,that is why we have different activities added to the competition.”

“Like football friendly match , which we played against African Comprehensive High School, Alagbaka, which we defeated with 4-0.”

“This is another way to engage the girls in extracurricular activities making them to be well off in the society and be useful even in the area of sports and we thank God Fiwasaye is making wave all over Nigeria.”
