Yoruba must vote for Tinubu – Osun APC chairman

Michael Ofulue ,Osogbo

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Prince Gboyega Famodun has said that only a bastard son of Yoruba will fail to support Bola Tinubu’s ambition to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

This is just as the Chairman said that the former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the ruling APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has all it takes to succeed President Buhari.

Famodun stated this while addressing thousands of supporters and members of APC who converged on the popular Freedom Park, Osogbo after staging a street walk in solidarity with Tinubu/Shetima presidential ambition.

Members of the party led by the Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, had walked through Oke-Fia down to Alekuwodo, Ola-iya junction, Odiolowo, Isale- Osun, station road, Lautech Ajegunle road and terminated it at Freedom Park, Osogbo.

Addressing the mammoth crowd, Famodun condemned how the Yorubas were at the forefront of pull-him-down-syndrome that never made the late Awolowo and others realise their ambition.

He described Tinubu as a visionary leader and great achiever, just as he berated the lackadaisical attitude of some Yorubas, urging the sons and daughters of Yorubaland to always rally round their leaders.

Speaking, Governor  Oyetola who was physically elated by the impressive number of  people at the venue said Tinubu is most qualified to rule the country.

He said: “The walk for Tinubu is a very fortunate one because we will love to testify to its goodness. Tinubu will become the president of this nation because God’s mouth has proclaimed it.
