You are out of Egypt, LGSC boss tells workers

Civil servants in Ondo State have been rescued from Egypt and taken to the promise land by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu going by the priority accorded their welfare.

Chairman, Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Mr Femi Idris said this while declaring opening a 2-day capacity building workshop organised by the commission held at Itaogbolu during the week.

According to a statement from the head of Information Unit of Local Government Service Commission, Prince Akeem Momoh, Idris admonished the workers to be grateful to the Governor for prioritising their welfare through prompt payment of salaries, training and retraining among others.

“This government met you in Egypt and has taken you out of Egypt. The difference is clear between this government and the previous ones, “declared Idris.

Speaking on the topic” Team Building for Organizational Productivity “, Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission, Mr Ade Akinbosade charged the workers not to destroy the service through their actions and inactions.

Permanent Secretary, Pension Transitional Department, Mr Dare Olipede said the workshop was an evidence that the lost glory of the Local Government Service Commission has been restored.
