Your commitment ‘ll move OPL to greater heights, Adetula charges workers

An appeal has gone to the staff of Owena Press Limited, Publisher of The Hope newspaper to show loyalty and unwavering allegiance to the company in order to take it to greater height.

Chairman/ Editor-in-Chief of the company, Sir Ademola Adetula gave the charge during the New Year Prayer Meeting and Thanksgiving.

The prayer was also an avenue for the staff and the management to show gratitude to God for seeing them through previous year and for the success story of the organization.
Adetula gave God all the praise for the various success achieved by the company in previous year and thanked the state government under the leadership of the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his support to the media outfit.

He said the company last year embarked on some innovative schemes such as special home/office delivery service at no cost which has widen the scope of circulation of the newspaper and expressed joy that the idea has been accepted by the reading public .
He reeled out some of the achievements to include procurement of three dispatch bikes, generators, overhauling of printing machines, installation of modern sign age, boosting online operations and visual visibility of The Hope globally, landscaping and extension of existing buildings, training and promotion of staff.

His words: “We have every reason to praise the Lord for his favour and kindness during the previous year. And we are all here to show appreciation.

He charged the staff to continue to key into the company’s new vision to take Owena Press Limited to a greater height by being diligent and hard working.
Earlier in his sermon, the Editor of The Hope newspaper, Mr. Akindele Adubuola enjoined the staff not to bury their talents as a person who buries his or her talent cannot be the best. He also advised them to always think about how to add value to themselves and the work they do.
He said, “always think about how to add value to your life, that is how your life will appreciate”.
“The moment you stops adding value to your life, you start depreciating”, he said.
Adubuola urged the staff to review their attitudes to the company and to love what they are doing.
Speaking on behalf of the staff, Admin Manager, Mr. Kole Akinleji thanked the chairman for the kind gestures he showed to all the staff towards the celebration of Christmas.
