Youths urged to actively participate in politics

The Regent of Ayeka Kingdom, in Okitipupa Local Government area of Ondo State, Princess Oluyemi Bajowa, has urged youths to live up to expectations as the future leaders of the country.
The regent gave the advice while playing host to the members of the National Union of Okitipupa Local Government Students (NUOLGS) in her palace .
According to the monarch, “youths are vibrant and they are expected to involve in politics to correct the mistakes of past generations who she said had failed the nation.”
She, however, wished them well in their efforts to reach the peak of their careers and pledged her support towards the progress of the union.
Earlier, in his speech,the National President, NUOLGS, Mr.Agboola Olatujoye said the union as a registered association with the backing of leaders within the local government was established to foster cordial relationship among students of various communities within the council across all institutions in the country.
The union also felicitated with the regent on her birthday with the presentation of Merit Award.
