The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Afforestation, Bidemi Obayangban, popularly called OC General, has urged Nigerians, especially Christians, to emulate the selfless sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

In his message, Obayangban called on citizens to rededicate themselves to the betterment of their fellow Nigerians and the country, reflecting on the sacrifice Jesus made to redeem humanity.

The Governor’s aide used the opportunity to reassure the good people of Ondo State of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration’s commitment to delivering on its mandate.

Obayangban expressed optimism that the citizens of the state would continue to reap the dividends of democracy.

“On this occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ, I wish our Christian brothers and sisters a wonderful celebration.

” Let us all reflect on the sacrifice that the Saviour of the World made by becoming a mere mortal in order to redeem us from our sins.

“We are encouraged by this huge and monumental sacrifice of Jesus Christ to also key into this sacrifice by supporting the economic reforms introduced by President Tinubu.

These reforms are being undertaken to secure the future of all Nigerians.

“The reforms have already started yielding positive results, especially in some sectors, as evidenced in key areas of the economy.”

He also called on the people to pray for the success of Governor Aiyedatiwa as he steers the ship of leadership in the state.

While consoling parents who lost their children in Ibadan during a recently organised programme, he urged those in positions of authority to always provide for the needs of the people.
