The Ondo State Police Command has placed ban on the sale and use of fireworks, fire-crackers, Banger and other explosives during the Yuletide in the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Oyeyemi Adesoye Oyediran in a press statement noted that the order was part of moves by the police to sustain the relative peace in the state and to deter hoodlums from using to perpetrate their dastardly act.
“In view of this, the command is using this medium to warn both the sellers and the buyers to desist from any conduct or act that can cause the breach of peace enjoyed in the state .
