Zion Igbokoda’s attack: Council boss sues for peace

The Chairman of Ilaje Local Government, Mr Jatuwase Olamigoke, has sued for peace among residents of the Zion community.
He gave the charge in Igbokoda following the death of one prominent Ilaje daughter who was assaulted and killed by yet to be identified assailant.
Jatuwase said the perpetrators will be brought to book in no distance time.
Jatuwase who visited the community in company of Olu of Igbokoda, Oba Afolabi Odidiomo, the DPO and DCO of Ilaje local government, promised to ensure adequate security in the community.
The council boss advised youths of the community not to take law into their hands and not to truncate the peaceful coexistence with the Hausa community.
According to him, “development can only thrive if peace is given a chance in the community.
“I promise the deceased family that the killers of their daughter are going to be fished out and dealt with according to the law, he explained.”
