The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in Ondo State has said that its issue-based campaign has attracted massive support to the party.
The State Chairman of the party, Mr. Cornelius Adetoye, stated this in an interview with The Hope
He outlined the party’s agenda, which prioritizes rejuvenating the state’s economy, agriculture, education, security and health.
Adetoye disclosed that the party’s campaign train will visit Akoko Northeast, Akoko Northwest, Akoko Southeast, and Akoko Southwest Local Government areas on Wednesday.
The campaign team, which has already visited several local governments, including Odigbo, Ondo West, Ondo East, Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo, Akure South, and Owo, witnessed massive turnouts.
“The electorate turned out massively to receive the ZLP candidate, Dr. Abbas Mimiko.
“Our campaign has been issue-based and free and fair, with no attacks or destruction of billboards, apart from one billboard destroyed in Irele,” Adetoye said.
He expressed confidence in the party’s candidate winning the election.
“We have a credible candidate that the people of the state can vote for,” he said.
