ZLP strategies on 2019 eletions

In a bid to ensure its candidates win overwhelmingly in the forthcoming general elections, the Ondo North chapter of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, has held a meeting to map out strategies to achieve its aim.
At the well attended meeting held at the Okoja Community Hall, Ikare Akoko, all stakeholders of the party trooped in large numbers for the deliberations.
The meeting which started at 10 am witnessed the presence of the former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, former Chief Judge of Ondo State, Justice Olaseinde Kumuyi, the former Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development who is also the party’s Senatorial Candidate for the party in 2019 elections in the North Oloye Olasinmi Akindele-Odunmbaku, party EXCOS and many other important dignitaries across the six local governments of the Senatorial District.
Speaking at the meeting, Chief(Mrs) Olasinmi Akindele-Odunmbaku appreciated members of the party for their selfless commitment and hardwork.
She said the massive turn out and quality of job that has been done is a pointer that the good people of Ondo North Senatorial district are seriously tired of the poor representation by the current occupier of the district’s in the National Assembly.
The former Commissioner stated that there is the need for a change of guard so as to give the right person who will provide a purposeful leadership and bring the dividends of democracy to the people.
She added that ZLP is the only party that is opening her doors for Women and youths massive participation in politics and great consideration for elective posts.
She declared that nearly all the candidates for the State House of Assembly positions are youths.
She was rest assured that the commitment and great show of enthusiasm by the people are more that enough reasons to conclude that they are in serious need of fresh air of quality leadership especially when she, a woman with good understanding of multiplier effects in the society, is vying for the seat.
Mrs Odumbaku therefore charged the people to take their destiny in their hands by voting for the party and someone who has always been identifying with their challenges at different times in the past.
At the end of the meeting members promised to spreading the message to all houses and people in the district.
