2022/23 NPFL: Adedipe, Nzube Anaezemba join Gombe United

Ahead of the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, Gombe United Football Club have signed 12 players to bolster their ranks.

The club confirmed yesterday that 12 players have joined the Savannah Scorpions after signing the dotted line and will work under the tutelage of Technical adviser Aliu Zubairu .

The newly signed players include Ondo State born midfielder, Kehinde Adedipe who donned Shooting Stars shirt last season , Nzube Anaezemba – Abia Warriors Midfielder, Anayo Ohbunna – Katsina United – Striker, Chibuke Samson of MFM – Striker, Godwin Efe – Wikki tourist – Striker, Samuel Ogunjimi –  Ottasalo – Striker, Yusuf Abdulateef Taiye Crown FC – Winger, Amos Steven Doma United(Gombe) – Midfielder, Usman Ahmad Plateau United – Midfielder, Salisu Shuaibu Fc Zaki Mairiga(Gombe) – Midfielder, Ibrahim Hamisu Doma United(Gombe) – Defender, Ahmad Umar – Al-Nasr (Libya) – Defender.

Gombe United ended the 2021/22 NPFL season 8th on the log with 53 points . The management hopes to better the position in the upcoming season.

The interim management committee, (IMC) set up by the Minister of Youth and Sports development, Mr Sunday Dare to over the affairs of the nation’s league bis yet to announce date for the commencement of the league.
