Sunshine Stars FC preparations for the new NPFL season have been handed a boost following the donation of training kits to the team by a foremost sports group, People United By Sports (PUBS).
The Owu manufactured kits were presented to the Chairman Ondo State Football Agency, (ODSFA) three-man Management Committee, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa who is the Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
While speaking during the ceremony in his office, Aiyedatiwa expressed satisfaction with the team’s pre-season campaign.
He thanked the PUBS group for the gesture.
“Those of you that were here towards the end of last season I want to thank you again for your superlative performance that brought us out of relegation. Also I thank you for performing so well in your pre-season activities; Sunshine is now a team to beat as we are about to go into the new season.”
“People United By Sports, I thank you for the gesture; for the training jerseys as it is being endorsed by me today.
The Deputy Governor added that the socio-economic and health benefits of sports make it a worthy and noble cause to invest in and contribute to.
