Expect more democracy dividends, Gov assures

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has appreciated the people of Ondo Kingdom for the massive votes cast for him and his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the October 10, 2020 Governorship Election in the state.
He reassured the people of more dividends of good governance in his second term.
Akeredolu spoke at the weekend during the 10th Year Remembrance Service of High Chief, Dr, Stephen Kolawole Adeyeye who was the Adaja of Ondo Kingdom.
The ceremony held at Cathedral Church of St. Stephen’s, Oke-Aluko, Ondo, also had in attendance, the Deputy Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa; the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Victor Kiladejo; Head of Service, Pastor John Adeyemo; Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Donald Ojogo,.among others.
High Chief, Dr, Stephen Kolawole Adeyeye was the father of the immediate past Acting Commissioner for Health, Dr Jibayo Adeyeye.
Akeredolu who used the occasion to commend the prompt intervention of the Osemawe when cultists were on rampage in the city, said all citizens must come together to confront the spate of insecurity confronting the country.
The Governor lauded the children of the late Adaja for upholding the good name of their father with the impacts each of them is making in their respective professional callings.
He urged parents to take pragmatic steps in the value reorientation of their children, so that, the Nigerian society will be at ease with itself and the future guaranteed for young citizens.
Earlier, in his sermon titled, ” What will You Be Remembered for”, the Dean of the Cathedral, Venerable Solomon Adeleye described High Chief Stephen Kolawole Adeyeye as a man of honour who embraced integrity in all his endeavours as a businessman and community leader.
Ven. Adeleye who admonished the people to always live their lives in a manner that will make them be remembered for good after their sojourn on earth, equally charged parents to train their children in the ways of the Lord, so that , they will have peace in future.
