FRSC tasks motorists on traffic regulations

The Federal Road Safety Corps has warned motorists plying major highways in the country to always adhere strictly to safety precautions especially during the yuletide season.

The Corps gave the warning at the flag off ceremony yesterday at the 2022/2023 Ember Months Campaign held in Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of the State

The Unit Commander in Ore, Mr Sikiru Alonge while speaking at the event admonished all road users to adhere to all traffic precautionary measures at all time

He commended the motorcyclist in the area for registering thier respective motorcycles by the relevant agency

Alonge however charged motorists plying major highways in the country to avoid speeding, overloading and using unsafe tyres while embarking on a journey in order to safe both passengers and drivers from untimely death.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Ore Zonal Commander of Southwest Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps, Pastor Emmanuel Ogundana  tasked motorists to also abstain from taking alcohol, hard drugs and to avoid hasting while driving.

He however urged the government to provide necessary assistance in making spearpartst more affordable for motorists.
