Uphold tenets of Islam, Muslims urged

Muslim faithful have been urged to adhere to the tenets of Islam and never relent in following the teachings of Allah.
They were also urged to have the fear of Allah and be their brother’s keeper at all times.
The Chief Iman of Ondo Kingdom, Alhaji Sheik (Dr) Albudlbasiru Alimi and the Imam, Albudlrafiu Ajiboye popularly known as Lagbaji gave the charge at Eid prayer ground.
They said the importance of Eid-el-Fitri was to appreciate Allah and give him glory no matter the situation .
Muslims in Ondo city converged at different Eid grounds like Copek, Surulere, Oka and other areas of the city to appreciate Allah.
While felicitating with Muslim faithful, they advised them to maintain good deeds towards their neighbours, fellow Muslims, and never relent in following the teachings of Allah.
Some Islamic clerics at the prayer ground, Alhaji Rasheed Olawoye, Alfa Orelope Fasan, Alfa Almaud Alasela and Alhaji Albudlafeez Alimi appreciated Almighty Allah for witnessing this year’s celebration, while charging Muslims to remain faithful.
They also enjoined them to shun bad habits they left during fasting.
Also, speaking, Dr Abbas Mimiko expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah, while urging Muslims to stand with Allah, saying doing this, the world will be a better place.
