The Hope Metro gathered that Ogaga who is a sachet water hawker from Delta state has been in the business for a very long time in the community.

It was gathered that he normally fetch the water from an abandoned well close to the house he lives, get a bottle sealer to seal the top, buy iced block to cool the water and eventually sell to unsuspecting residents.

According to our source, it was gathered that the Aule Community youths asked if he was alone in the business or had other hawkers that are into it, and that he confessed that he was alone in it.

When narrating to The Hope Metro, our source said Ogaga when interviewed said: “When I came to Ondo state, I was only able to live in an uncompleted building, the house was actually abandoned by the owner.

“That was when I started going to parties every weekend to collect empty water bottles.

“I collect water from the well nearest to my house to make sure neighbours from the other house do not see me because they believe I normally buy the water from shop owners.

“Every Sunday, when my neighbours have gone to church, I fill all the water cans and ensure I place the cork on only the ones still carrying any label.”

According to the spokesperson of the youths in the community, Mr Lekan Adeoye, the young man was seen by one of the ladies in the compound fill the water  water bottles and reported to them.

“We will hand him over to the police for appropriate action which will serve as a deterrent to others”, he assured.
