Clerics laud Akeredolu over performance

A special supplication for divine strength and protection to transit peacefully from the outgoing term in office to a second term for the Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has been held in Owo.
The prayer session was organised by some muslim clerics in Owo under the leadership of the Chairman League of Imams and Alfas in Ondo State who is also the Chief Imam of Owo Alhaji Ahmed Aladesawe.
The clerics said Governor Akeredolu has performed creditably beyond the expectations of the people of the state in his outgoing first term and therefore would need spiritual support to come out with a resounding victory in the October 10, 2020 governorship election.
The event had the Chairman of Muslim Welfare Board, Alhaji Khaleem Fawehinmi and some top officials of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria, FOMWAN, with some islamic elites in attendance.
Responding, Governor, Akeredolu, appreciated the Chief Imam of Owo and all religious leaders in the state for their fervent prayers of support to God for the continuity agenda of his administration.
The governor who said judging by the amazing support he receives daily across the state, the hand of God Almighty is divinely on the project.
Akeredolu said he was confident that by divine counseling and guidance his second term will be greatly beneficial to the people of Ondo State.
