How my daughter was rescued from gunmen

Mrs Taiwo Fashina, mother of the three-year-old Mary Fashina, who was kidnapped by some unknown gunmen at second Army barrack gate, along Ondo road in Akure, has narrated how her daughter was recovered four days after her abduction.
It will be recalled that Mary was abducted at about 3:30 pm on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at the gate of her parents’ residence located by second gate of Army barracks gate along Ondo road in Akure, while returning from church with her family.
Reports had it that after the incident, the kidnappers contacted the family and warned that the parents should not involve the security operatives especially the Amotekun if they still want to see their child alive.
The mother narrated, “The ugly incident occurred around 8:30pm on Wednesday on our way from the church.
“The Amotekun Corps called us four days after that they have found my daughter along Oshinle by a shop.
“We quickly got there and behold! it was my daughter.
Elated Mrs Fashina thanked men of the Corps for standing by the family until the recovery of her daughter unhurt.
Confirming the release, the Commander of the Ondo State Amotekun Corps, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye said the man said the little girl was taken away from her mother who reported the incident to him.
“He gave me the description of the place and we dispatched our special forces to the place. On getting there, we met the woman and we commenced operation.
“We followed the trend of things from that day till the point the child was recovered somewhere in a shop along Ondo road.
