Abdullahi Olowokere has  emerged the governorship flag bearer of the Action Alliance (AA) in Ondo State during the party’s primary which was held in Akure.

The Chairman of the 2024 Action Alliance Governorship Primary election Committee, Joshua Adewole said the event was an affirmation by all party members to make  Olowokere the governorship representative of the party as no one contested against him.

He said all members of the party in all the 18 local governments of the state had unanimously chosen him to fly the flag of the party in the state.

One of the elders of the party, Chief Mrs Roseline Oshoakpeme who opined that the party is a party to beat in the coming governorship election said other party that have ruled the state have done their part, adding that now is the turn of Action Alliance to rule

In his acceptance speech,  Abdullahi Olowokere appreciated the members of the party for doing him the honour to fly the flag of the party in the November governorship election

According to him, the race to government house at Alagbaka will be keenly contested because AA is involved in the race and assured that there will be victory for the party during the election
