The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State has commended the Caretaker Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee led by Mai Mala Buni for its success in the nationwide membership revalidation and registration of the party and other tasks before it within a short period.
The party in the state expressed hope in the committee to conduct peaceful congresses and the national convention of the party scheduled for next month.
The State Director, Media and Publicity of the party, Mr. Steve Otaloro, stated this in an interview with The Hope yesterday.
Meanwhile, he said in view of task before the committee, the extension of tenure should be given to the committee to conduct acceptable congresses and the national convention
He explained that the acceptability of the congresses and the national convention was what important to the party.
“The congresses and the national convention hopefully will hold and if it involves to be postponed so be it.
“Because we want this committee to do a good job and create solid foundation so that by the time we hold the congresses and the national convention everything will be peaceful .
“The state chapter of the APC is fully aligned with the performance of the committee and despite the task before the committee, its members have been able to live up to the expectation” he said
