Water Resources Commissioner resumes, tasks workers on hardwork

The Ondo State Commissioner for Water Resources, Public Sanitation and Hygiene, Mr Fatai Olotu has charged members of staff of the ministry to be alive to their duties in order to achieve the mandate of the ministry and the vision of the present administration for the sector.
Speaking at the maiden meeting with the management and staff held at the board room of the ministry, he expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him, assuring that with hardwork, support and cooperation of all, the state water sector would soon begin to witness positive changes.
The commissioner thanked the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his KAMOMI AKETI water scheme initiative, noting that the project has no doubt put smiles on the faces of residents across the state.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry ,Alhaji Ibraheem Olabode Yusuf who welcomed the new Commissioner, assured of unalloyed support and commitment of the management and staff to achieve the set goals.
He noted that with the current reform being carried out by the present administration in the water sector, the sector is lucky to have a commissioner who is noted for his trail blazing achievements in his previous public service engagement, expressing confidence that he would re enact his magic wand to take the sector to greater heights.
In his own remarks, the President of AUPCTRE and Former Chairman of JNC, Comrade Solomon Adelegan described members of staff as committed and vibrant officers who are ready to carry out any official assignment given to them.
He also assured the Commissioner of unflinching support from members of Staff.
