Akwa United have reportedly completed the signing of Sunshine Stars creative midfielder and freekick specialist, Babatunde Bello.

Information reveals that talks has been ongoing since Deji Ayeni was appointed as Head Coach of the Uyo outfit and to further strengthen the depth of his squad, Ayeni returned to his former club to bolster his current team.

Bello’s last goal was a freekick in their 2-1 win over Dakkada Football Club this month.

He has successfully netted three direct freekicks from all six he has taken.

Official announcement will be made before Thursday deadline day as the player has already bid farewell to the fans and his teammates at Sunshine Stars.
