Client look down on me being a young engager

An upcoming engager, Ayo-Olaito Emmanuel, popularly known as Alaga Ibile Nifemi, has narrated his sad moment in the business when he was embarrassed being a young guy anchoring Alaga.
Emmanuel narrated how some people looked down on him because of his stature and said to his face that who is this small boy and what would he do.
During an interview with Friday extravaganza, he shared his experience with one bride’s mother during an engagement.
According to him, “the woman said who is this small boy, awon omo school to sare wale fun holiday re, in an embarrasing way.
The engager stated that till he finished the work he was not happy with what the woman said, adding that he saw it as a phase.
The 25-year-old Alaga, noted that his opponent engager intimidated him and some would take advantage of him being a young guy.
According to him, his parents have been supporting his career, noting that sometimes they rehearse with him before going out.
The 200 level student of Marketing from Ekiti State University, when asked why he chose to venture into a female world as a male, he said being a male gave him an edge over most women in the business noting that most couples want their compere to be male and a good one.
He revealed that the job is lucrative, adding that if Alaga knows his way in the business he would go far.
He stated that male in the field are many since it is a day to day business, adding that it can be easily learnt.
While boasting of his capacity to anchor engagement, he said “what a woman can do a man can do better. He said as much as you are very good in what you do, there would be no limitations.
He narrated how he was motivated by a woman to anchor engagement. Saying since then God has been his inspiration.
He noted that his love and passion for excellence in directing engagement ceremonies has exposed him to the society.
