Deji charges journalists on accurate reportage

Media practitioners have been advised to investigate their story properly and uphold the truth in the course of discharging their professional duties.
The Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi gave the advice at the July edition of a get-to-gether jazz night programme of the Nigerian Union Of Journalists, NUJ, Ondo State Council
Aladetoyinbo urged journalists to report objectively and to expose any form of social ills and injustice to make the state a better one.
The Monarch who appreciated members of the union for being friendly and for their professionalism, reiterated his continuous support for the union.
Ondo State Amotekun Corps Commander, High Chief Adetunji Adeleye, while speaking, assured on the steadfastness of his command towards ensuring a state free from insecurity.
Adeleye applauded the union for its unrelenting efforts towards information dissemination, just as he prayed that God will continue to protect and guide them in the course of discharging their professional duties.
Earlier, Chairman of NUJ, Ondo State Council, Mr Adetona Aderoboye appreciated Oba Aladetoyinbo for his fatherly roles at all times and for making out time to attend the programme.
He appreciated the Amotekun Commander for his tireless efforts which has turned the state to one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria.
He however, charged the Corps Commander to intensify more efforts towards making insecurity in the state a thing of the past.
